SHARM  EL-SHEIKH

Land of peace & Nature

The simplicity of sun, sea and sand

The luxury of five-star hotels, water sports, shopping and entertainment

This large-scale touristic development at Sharm el Sheikh Bay, situated directly along the Red Sea, takes care of a substantial expansion of the tourist attractions of Sharm el Sheikh.

The morphology of the site results in various typologies, in which the yachting harbour, which accommodates approx. 600 yachts, forms the dazzling heart of the plan.

Sharm el Sheikh, often known simply as "Sharm", is a city situated on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, in Janub Sina', Egypt, on the coastal strip between the Red Sea and Mount Sinai.
Sharm el-Sheikh is the administrative hub of Egypt's Southern Sinai province which includes the smaller coastal towns of Dahab and Nuweiba as well as the mountainous interior, Saint Catherine's Monastery and Mount Sinai. Sharm el-Sheikh is known as The City of Peace referring to the large number of international peace conferences that have been held there.
The simplicity of sun, sea and sand. The luxury of five-star hotels, water sports, shopping and entertainment. This is Sharm el-Sheikh, one of the most accessible and developed tourist resort communities on the Sinai peninsula. All around are Bedouins, colorful tents, mountains and sea. There are small, intimate hotels with modern designs, as well as larger hotel complexes belonging to International chains, plus about all the amenities one could expect of a tourist center, including casinos, discos and nightclubs, golf courses and health facilities.
In fact, with diving and snorkeling, windsurfing and other water sports, horses and camel riding, desert safaris, and great nearby antiquities attractions, it is almost impossible for a visitor to ever suffer from boredom Four miles south the southern section of the town stands on a cliff overlooking the port. and is a great view.
Na'ama Beach is one of the center of the tourist activities. Located just north of Sharm, this area is developing into a resort town of its own. Most hotels at Na'ama Bay have their own, private beaches with comfortable amenities such as chairs, shades and even bars.

Shark's Bay is also nearby, and again is a growing resort community with more and more to offer, along with several diving centers.

The small harbor known as Sharm el-Moiya is located next to the civil harbor, has accommodations for boats, and includes a Yacht Club with rooms.

For those who live to shop, the Sharm el-Sheikh mall provides shops with both foreign and local products, including jewelry, leather goods, clothing, pottery and books.

It has been said that this is a must visit for all diving enthusiasts. There are many diving sites along the 10 mile beach between Sharm el-Sheikh and Ras Nusrani.

Sharm El-Sheikh ......
Apart from its military strategic position, was considered for more than 25 years an isolated part of Egypt. Only after the liberation war and Egypt's victory in 1973, and the ensuing peace agreement, the wonderful city of Sharm El-Sheikh emerged as a promising resort laden with many prospective potentials of prosperity. Since then a new era emerged in the history of Sinai and its largest city.

The Land of Peace
As peace is an eloquent reminder of the fruits of peaceful coexistence on one hand and the horror of war on the other hand, we should impart in the new generations the dire need for peace based on justice and equality.

Under the motto of comprehensive and just peace, Sharm El-Sheikh city hosts

groups of youths from the four corners of the world to set their camps over its land. Under the banner of peace and friendship, these gatherings of different faiths, races and colors met in love and fraternity.
Sharm El- Sheikh, a work camp comprising some 150 participants from 20 European, Asian, African and Arab countries held their conference in the Juvenile 's Village at Ras Nusrani in August 1997.
In 1998 another camp was organized with 300 youths from 30 countries participating in an atmosphere of friendship and love for peace, voicing their keenness on achieving world peace.

In 1999 fifty countries joined these camps, which have become one of Sharm El-Sheikh landmarks. Participants in these camps usually demonstrate their firm adherence to just and comprehensive peace. These camps include different kinds of sports and cultural games.
